We started Monday with a tour of the largest media house in Slovenia – the public radio and television RTV Slovenija. Firstly we saw the radio building; they greeted us in the studio and music hall. Then we crossed the street in the underground tunnel to see the television building. We saw different studios and chatted with Manica Janežič Ambrožič about difficulties that the journalists at RTV Slovenija face.
Then our participants had a lecture by dr. Jernej Amon Prodnik, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. He talked about the monitoring practices in a digital society.
Anne Leppäjärvi presented the European Journalism Training Association (EJTA). Anne is the Journalism Degree Director at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Finland.
We ended the official program with participant’s presentations of their projects from the Saturday workshops. After that we took advantage of the weather and walked around Ljubljana and talked about FEJS at the Ljubljana Castle.
